Jamie Davis And The Seattle Seahawks Have Arrived In Prescott – Can You Hear Them?

Welcome Jamie Davis To Guidance Aviation

Occasionally helicopter schools receive requests to turn down the noise.  But helicopters are nothing compared to some NFL fans.  In 1985, the NFL instituted a noise rule in an attempt to squash the loudest fans in the League – The Seattle Seahawks.  Today, those fans are known as the 12th Man.  Recently, a member of that 12th Man squad arrived in Prescott, Arizona and is now a member of the Guidance Aviation team as Academic Administrator.

Jamie Davis is a graduate of Washington State University, with a Bachelor’s in English and a 4-12 Teaching Certificate.  Sometime after her student teaching, Davis’ life yawed into aviation, becoming a marketing manager for a company that engineered and manufactured in-flight entertainment and business avionics to corporate operators and manufacturers.  After moving to Prescott 5 years ago for her husband’s job, Davis has worked at Yavapai College, taught online high school, and freelanced in marketing consulting.  “On Sundays, it’s all about football! We are crazy Seattle Seahawks fans.  Don’t be surprised to see me in full gear before Monday night games.  It’s going to be fun to be at the airport everyday jumping back into a completely different aspect of aviation; one that so perfectly melds my teaching background with my avionics experience,” states Davis.

Davis and her husband spend most Saturdays in Phoenix supporting their son’s soccer team. When not cheering in the stands at a soccer game or at home during Monday Night Football, Davis enjoys hiking, the outdoors, reading, and photography. With a son that is 13 years old, and a daughter that is 9, her family’s team is completed with a big “fluffy” cat and an energetic dog.

If it’s loud in your neighborhood on Monday night, it ain’t the helicopters! Go Seahawks.
