Helicopter Careers, Pilot Jobs on The Rise

The Helicopter careers and jobs front remains strong. Recently, Jay Van Wagenen, ERA Pilot and Guidance Aviation helicopter pilot school graduate, flying in the Gulf of Mexico, visited our Baton Rouge flight operations and proudly showed off his AgustaWestland 109E Power.  In the video below, Jay discusses his experience flying professionally with ERA and what he learned at Guidance Aviation.

Another Guidance Aviation graduate, Kenan Bahadir, who has been flying for Maverick Helicopters, was recently hired by Air Methods, the largest EMS operator in the U.S., with 315 locations and 400 aircraft. As Dennis McCall of Air Methods said during HELIEXPO 2013, “We have a need for pilots. We are probably going to hire 300 pilots this year.” See previous story on Kenan, “Life Come Full Circle…”

Alex Clark, NorthStar Trekking Pilot, Guidance Graduate, flying theEurocopter AS350 B2 AKA (ASTAR), in Alaska.
