Copy of your passport.
3. Financial Verification
This is required and may be in the form of a notarized copy of a bank statement (denoted in USD) or a notarized affidavit of support.
4. Proof of Education
This should be in the form of a transcript from the highest level of education you have achieved. Credentials for all international students are to be translated to English and certified to be at least equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma. Documents can be certified through Educational Perspectives or a similar service.
5. Medical Certificate
All students must be able to obtain an FAA 3rd Class Medical Certificate. You are not required to obtain one before you come to the U.S., but we highly encourage you to do so if you have any existing health concerns to ensure your eligibility to perform as a pilot.

Prior to starting training, each student will be required to obtain a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airman Medical Certificate.

At Guidance Aviation, we require students to obtain a 3rd Class Medical Certificate.

Typically, medical certificates are obtained in the U.S. However, if you do have existing or known medical conditions, we encourage you to obtain your medical certificate prior to traveling to the U.S. to ensure you are medically fit to begin training upon arrival.

Designated FAA Medical Examiners that are authorized to issue U.S. FAA Airman Medical Certificates are located in many countries outside of the United States. Locate one in your country with the FAA’s Find an Aviation Medical Examiner tool

Once you have met the above criteria, submit the following documents to our Student Services Representatives at [email protected].
